DescriptionThe early 70's were strange times in comics and in the nation, you know- bra burning, Helen Reddy, & Ms.Magazine.The Women's Lib movement brought "the Valkyrie" to the "Hulk" comic, where she beat the crap out of him and then threw him off the Empire State Buliding. She then took over the "Avengers" for an issue with the other female members, before heading to "the Defenders" in issue #4.....I liked her then, and I like her now............( AND SHE'S DONE, check her out in the other gallery.!!!!!!!! )Social/Sharing |

Now you're talking!!! There are so many cool female characters from the 60's and 70's that most artists ignore. Can't wait to see the inks!

SWEET JEZEEUS!! >Sniff! Sniff!< It's a truly beautiful thing when fanboy wishes are granted! Can't wait to see how you lay down the black love on this one, Mike!

Your super power is to make those improbable characters interesting! I mean, for many non-readers, super heroes are not appealing at all ... And among us fans, some still have difficulties to find "that" design attractive or "this" concept interesting. But you have what it takes to even make Valkyrie sexy, and impressive and sexy and determined and sexy and believable in her costume AND sexy! Bravo! Can't wait to see the final art!

I agree with Stephane! The realism with which you draw all your characters make them appealing even to non comic book believers or readers! That's the differnce between you and others! Very nice prelim work, indeed!

SEXY BUT IMPOSING! THE INK INTERPRETATION ON THE SKY ADDS SO MUCH DEPTH AND CHARACTER. -DAN-
