Description

The story Cold Cuts was first published in Vampirella 34, June 1974. Written by Bernie Wrightson and illustrated by Jeffrey Jones, the confluence of talent is amazing. Both of these creators were at the peak of their powers, and the story reflects that in every way imaginable. A classic story of betrayal and retribution with chilling, metaphysical twists, the inner monologue of the lead character provides context in brilliant counterpoint to the pen and brush work, which are truly sublime. The art is 12 x 17 on a slightly larger comic art board.
