DescriptionMarvel August 1976 From the story "Fiends of the Feathered Serpent!" written by Roy ThomasVery happy to add this one to my collection. The original penciled pages had to be retrieved from Steven Gan and then inked by The Tribe! Rumor has it Steve Gan fell in love with the pencils so he lightbox inked the issue and maybe thought to keep the pencils. The original pages were gathered up and inked by Tony DeZuniga's studio. You can google and read Roy Thomas's recollection of what happened. Color and Gan's "unpublished version" below. Interesting to see an inkers alternate take on a pencil page and the subtle differences. Social/Sharing |

It's all about the Belit for me - I prefer this version to Gan's but gotta admire his taste in art!
