DescriptionPage 20.Fond memories of Jurgens run in Superman and JLA. Having said that, Jurgens always looked better with Breeding and Thibert inking him, not at all a fan of anybody else's inks on Jurgens pencils. The Justice League joins Maxima as she heads home to her devastated planet, but once there, the super-team confronts Starbreaker, the cosmic conqueror. Also, the new JLA headquarters is unveiled. Great group of classic Jurgens art ! While I'm probably Brett Breeding's biggest fan on CAF, I actually enjoyed Rick Burchett's vastly different approach to inking Dan Jurgens. Cool examples from a a fantastic (if underrated) run.

Thanks Gal. I remember seeing the JLA with Burchett inks the first time back in 1992 and thinking "what is wrong here?". Of course, I was even more horrified seeing Norm Rapmund inking Jurgens later on in Doomsday Wars!
