Another Watchmen page. I'm weak...
This is the funeral of the Comedian. A solemn 9-panels page with some of the main characters and an hidden guest-star... The Nite Owl, Dr. Manhattan, Ozymandias, the retired villain Moloch, and even Rorschach (if you know where to look).
And a main "character", the iconic "Smiley Face" button that is synonymous with this series.
I love specially the different close-ups on hands and the third strip, very cinematographic, going with the prayer.
"...but deliver us from Evil. Amen!"
