This was a big one for me, as it marked the 50th For All Seasons page to join my collection.

I�ve always said my goal was to own every page from this book. While I realistically know that won�t happen, to have acquired fifty of its 192 pages is something I�m proud of. When I seriously started collecting original comic art back in 2003, the book had already been out for five years and there weren�t many pages available through Graphic Collectibles, who was repping Tim at the time.

But patience and persistence has paid off. I�ve acquired pages from eBay, Heritage (where I got this one), by reaching out to fellow collectors here on CAF, and a good chunk of them from Graphic Collectibles when Tim�s good friend and letterer, Richard Starkings, found a stack of old pages at the Comicraft office that were made available for sale. I even got some through the one and only trade I�ve ever made.

I wish I�d bought a lot more of those pages Richard found back then, as they were non-Superman pages for anywhere from $150-250 a pop. But I was in my early 20s at the time and didn�t exactly have cash falling out of my pockets. However, I also know I was lucky enough to be collecting in the right place at the right time and am fortunate to have gotten more than my fair share.

For the longest time, owning a quarter of the book (48 pages) was my goal. Now that I�ve hit a nice round number, I�m setting my eye on 75. If anyone is interested in helping me get there, I�d love to chat. :o)

That L shape of the tower is great! It's gleaming above all the clutter of the rest of the city. The following panels are as well, with the Luthor close up being so clean and confident in line.
