Description

I believe that this was a commission by someone that liked the previous piece with Superboy and Lana, and it is a logical progression. Like its predecessor, This piece shows Superman and Lois floating above the clouds in a starry night; their heads framed by the moon. But the similarities stop there. Superman and Lois are obviously more mature; Lois is dressed in a business suit and Superman is much bulkier than the younger, leaner Superboy. In the image, Superman is looking longingly into Lois' eyes. Lana is innocent. Lois is forever. I have never seen this published, but is a great companion piece.

One of Kevin's great artistic strengths has always been his facial expressions. That ability really enhances the mood of this piece.
