DescriptionCommission sketch on X-men #1 blank. CGC SS 9.4.A big thank-you to Mike Jeter who gave me the opportunity to get a sketch cover done by Gabriele at home in his studio. On such short notice that it was not possible to mail any blanks to Gabriele's studio in Italy, Mike was even able to source an X-men #1 cover for me. I requested X-23 as the subject with no further details, leaving the rest up to Gabriele, and he came up with this beautiful vision of my favorite character. I'm absolutely thrilled with the result, this is a gem in my collection. Many thanks again to Mike and Gabriele! Social/Sharing |

Most similar sketch cover opportunities takes several weeks, if not months, to complete. Blew me away that he can produce such high quality art in such a short time. He's a beast!

So down I missed out on this opp by Mike. Dell'otto's work is so amazing and his work ethic in cranking these out as quickly as he did in such a short time really leaves him up as the consummate professional.
