Description

While Turner only supplied variant covers for the Supergirl series, and a mere 4 at that, I firmly believe his involvement is what supplanted the series as one of DC's top books. As far as this piece is concerned, I can say without an ounce of hesitation that this ranks among Mike's 5 best images he has EVER rendered of the girl of steel. When I first laid my eyes on this cover at Wizard World LA I was completely mesmerized and knew I had to move the heavens and Earth to own it. This image of Kara Zor EL is truly iconic in every sense of the word! It is great to have a grail piece in ones collection and now I have two... well I guess I have one and a Supergrail. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Frank, Mike and the guys at Aspen.

Perhaps among the top 5 overall, but hands down the BEST single image of Supergirl on comic art fans. When people look back on Turners DC work, images such as this will be synonymous with his name. Congrats on owning such a landmark piece!
