Description

Just once in a blue moon you might get a chance at owning something great in this hobby. When I saw this come up in a recent auction I knew I had to try and sort out art to sell, in order to be in with a chance. Luckily a fellow CAFer wanted all of the art that was on offer. It gutted me to lose those pieces, but this, this is a true gem, that I can stare at for hours on end. I�m a huge Rackham fan but I had never seen this piece prior to the auction. I later found out it was used as a calendar for the Punch Almanac 1907, type and date boxes were superimposed in the pencil sketchy areas. Also a spot colour (red) was used in certain areas. I only have a lo res image of the actual calendar pullout, needless to say I�m on the lookout for an actual paper copy of the Punch Almanac�. Let the search commence. Thanks to Jason for facilitating this very smooth transaction.

Holy cow! You got this?? Huge congrats! I was watching the auction closely, but couldn't pull the trigger. I totally agree it is a once in a lifetime buy. Grail!!
