Sandman Special #1 �The Song of Orpheus� was the first issue of the whole Sandman series I�ve ever read and I loved it from the beginning! I consider myself very lucky to own a page from this particular book, as they are very hard to find. Love the menacing look of a drunken Aristaeus as well as the huge amount of details on this page. Not to mention that strange looking fella in the upper left panel, of course! Awesome art by the great Bryan Talbot and superb inks by Mark Buckingham!

Sorry, for the modest picture quality here, the page is framed, so there is unfortunately no way to avoid some reflection�

This issue was my intro to Sandman back in 1991. At 13, I didn't really get it, but it certainly wasn't something you could put down and forget. And seeing your page now brings back a flood of memories; this page left an impression. Thanks
