DescriptionProbably the most infamous scene in Conan history and the one I've always wanted to paint! The Boris rendition is my favorite SSOC cover and depicting that scene from the novel, A Witch Shall Be Born without aping his was of paramount importance to me. I stayed as close to the hot, arid description in the book and I'm really happy with the result. Same scene, totally different feel. It was great to finally scratch that fanboy itch after almost 50 years!Acrylic on board 18"x24" Social/Sharing |
