Description

I was quite pleased to pick up another page from the Official Marvel Comics Try-Out Book. Doug Hazelwood did a wonderful job on the inks, particularly on Jonah's suit. While these pages probably weren't the most fun to ink (What, no Spidey?! No fighting?!) they were perfect for testing an artist's ability to render many different objects in the real world around them.

We all dreamed of being artists looking at these pages - too afraid to actually try our hand at inking them.

I never bought the Official Marvel Try-Out Book (I should have!), but these pages bring back good memories of JR jr's run on ASM when I was a teenager. Great stuff!
