DescriptionThis was quite a find for me as I love the Colan / Everett combination and there are only so many splash pages by this pair extant. This is the splash from Captain America 136...a great start to an all too brief two issue stint. As always, thanks to the seller for giving me a shot at this piece!Social/Sharing |

Great gorilla of Manilla! Stunning, staggeringly cool splash! Another highlight of a tremendous collection... huge congratulations on finding this grail quality page. There are three things I like more than original art by Colan/Everett: my wife, my kids, and drawing breath each day on planet Earth. After that, it's pretty much Colan/Everett for me! Thanks for sharing this extraordinary example.

Fantastic splash. Nice use of shadow and light, of course what else can one expect with Colan and Evertt. The page kinda draws you into it, with it's whirling image. Very nice find. Thanks for posting it.

gorgeouis, everett is easily my favorite inker and colan/everett is my dream teamup of artists. too bad they didn't get to do a lot together.

Probably my favorite Colan/Captain splash! I still remember how I fell, the intensity when it was published and saw this when I was a teen! If you ever need to move this one, sale, trade, please let me know! Thx
