Description

Okay, I know this has bounced around for a while but that has stopped for the next 10 years or so. Conan would have to be involved, maybe the Conan / Rune cover, for me to trade this. Of course a "real" Conan piece would be even better. But I digress, for I have coveted this piece for years (and was the underbidder to Burkey at Heritage the last time it was for sale) and have no interest in moving this, only enjoying it.

Wow, this is a hell of a score, Sean! I have been debating trying to work a trade for it with Mike for about a year now, but just never really tried. Good for you that you didn't hesitate! This is a very cool BWS cover and I bet you can stare at it for hours. Great pickup!

Gorgeous cover! The beauty of the Surfer figure juxtaposed against Rune's amazing face� This is better than the Conan vs. Rune cover. Here you can see Barry would have drawn an incredible sad, soulful Silver Surfer. The Surfer would have been a perfect fit for his type of graceful, somber heroes.
