Description

An insanely powerful Neal Adams action page where fear runs rampant throughout, from the thug's desperate run on panel one as he's unknowingly chased by El Diablo's shadow (itself a sheer block of compact dark) to the grim resolute lashing out of his accomplice (be sure to notice that great wildcat statue in panel 3, a study in tension...).

But, to me, top of the art here comes with the half-splash depiction of the Kid, ultra-cool and aloof, but, for the first time, depicting just a glimpse of concern with a twinkle in his right eye. Take a close look, folks, it's all here!

And it's all just on this one page! Boy, Neal Adams sure knew his tricks!...

Wow, this page is prime time. Have never seen an Adams page with more detail and a better feel than this one.
