Description

In 2011, I was able to contact Cliff Chiang about a commission, featuring my favorite New Mutant, Magik. Through the course of our conversation, we talked about our mutual love for Bill Sienkiewicz's work and his run on the New Mutants that pretty much defined Illyana's character. He told me afterwards that he was going to try and channel his inner Sienkiewicz, thusly, when he did my piece.

About nine months later...this came in the mail to me.

Obviously, I was delighted. In my dealing with him, I was delighted to discover that Mr. Chiang is a complete gentleman and one of the most devoted artists in the field with respect to his fans. Thanks so much, Mr. Chiang!!! :D
