I've always loved Chris Bachalo's dark, unique style ever since I saw him in the early 90's on Shade the Changing Man. I was able to contact him about a commission, as I thought his style was a natural fit to do a beautiful Magik piece for me. Unfortunately, after reaching him, I found out that his wait list was massive in length.

Fortunately, he's been producing great work and selling it on eBay lately. To my delight, one such piece featured none other than my favorite Russian sorceress. I quickly snapped the piece up...but also stayed on the commission list, while I did. Hey, now I can wait a few years!

I got on to CB's commission list about a month ago. I'm going to ask for Magik. And if your piece is any indication I hope he can nail it as well as he did for the piece you bought... Excellent find, congrats
