Description

Published in "Zim Book" 1900 by Judge & Co. Purchased at auction from the estate of Robert White, an interesting collector who, as a youth, became friends with Evelyn Lincoln who was long time secretary to John F. Kennedy. They developed their friendship through the years, and he acquired many pieces of Kennedy memorabilia. When Miss Lincoln died, she left tons of Kennedy items to White, including Kennedy's diaries,the watch he had on when shot, his wallet, etc. White literally had tens of thousands of Kennedy items. He unfortunately died at a young age & his widow started to sell off some Kennedy items. This got the attention of The National Archives, the Kennedy family, and others who were shocked to see what the estate had. Lawsuits were filed and ultimately everyone got some of the items. Where Robert White got this Zim drawing is unknown. In addition to the massive quantity of Kennedy items, he had dinner plates from the Titanic and other very unusual things.
