Description

Zim drawing of noted Elmira, NY photographer George Personius (1872-1949) running from the ShutterBug. He was a photographer for 46 years and estimated he had taken 200,000 pictures. He helped found the New York State Society for Crippled Children in 1922.
Note: Zim used a photograph for the head and then penned in the rest of the caricature, a technique he did occasionally.
