Description

This is my first Jam Piece and I'm quite excited about it. I have a very large new sketchbook that I refer to as my "Titans Tome" and thought I needed a killer opening page. So my thought is to do a piece that has all of the Titans' faces that will be in this book. We'll see if I actually leave enough room for all of them, but I'm so pleased with the beginning!

At the Boston Comic Con (August 2013) I started the Jam and had Phil Jimenez and George Perez contribute to it. The cool thing about this con was that I first went to Phil, who did Nightwing and Tempest, but also penciled out Donna Troy. I then went to George to do Starfire. While he had the book, George inked Phil's pencils. How cool is it to have a George/Phil collaboration?!!? I then went back and forth between George and Phil to get the rest of what's shown here.

So, on this first installment of my Jam, I have:

I was at the Perez table off and on and saw this a couple of times. That book is HUGE!

Awesome work (as usual) by both George and Phil! Only problem - after getting these two Titans masters to contribute so much, it will be hard to have anyone else live up to their work! Congratulations!
