Description

A hand painted print by Gerhard on Arches watercolor paper. This is from the cover of Following Cerebus number 10. Gerhard created a limited number of hand colored pieces as well as a small run of color prints available on his blog.

I managed to secure number 1 across the board and I am a very happy camper. This painting is vibrant and truly stunning.

For the record, I highly recommend getting Gerhard's hand colored prints, (I got all the prints he put on his site in the regular editions and then I got the two I put up on CAF). They are truly stunning and the pictures I posted here don't do the print justice. If you go to his site (http://www.gerhardart.com/apps/blog) he has a process piece for Ear to the Ground - that's mine (I geeked out a bit when I saw it). He also has some prints left so get them before they are gone. And no, he did not pay me to say this. :)

By the way, for anyone interested in checking out the awesomeness that is Cerebus, Dave Sim and the Cerebus Downloads page are offering the first volume of Cerebus as a free download, they are also offering a few of the first issues of High Society as a free Audio/Video dwnload.
