Description

I had already posted this fantastic commission by Alex Garcia previously,but decided to give a try to adding masthead and letters in an attempt to recreate the cover to Nova #24 as was originally planned. This was a challenge,especially with the Sphinx head in the corner.I Didn't want to completely cover up the masthead,so I had to do some tedious gimp work. This is the final result. Being I never liked the original Infantino cover much as it didn't make sense with the story.I am happy with the results.

The main figures look great, but my favorite is the Sphinx's head behind them!

How did I miss this one? Good stuff. I don't think I was ever a fan of post-1960s Infantino. Although I followed all the "Dial H for Hero" stuff he did in Adventure Comics.
