Description

I bought this piece from Greg's Comics in Mesa, AZ. The story goes that Greg went to dinner with Barry Windsor-Smith in San Diego during his Valiant days. During the dinner, Barry sketched on the tablecloth, ripped it off, and gave it to Greg.

The artwork, done in gold-colored pencil, is about 11 x 15.5 inches. The cloth has a couple of cup ring stains, suggesting that BWS might have had a glass of wine and some water with his dinner.

Very cool sketch and even cooler story! I 'da been happy with just dinner with BWS...the sketch owuld have been an incredible bonus
