Description

Black Hawk vs. Bozos: a cracking page showcasing the Nubian gladiator in full-on fighting form. It is occasionally suggested that Belardinelli's human characters look a little effete, compared to his alien ones - well, there's none of that with Black Hawk! He's savage, manly and in this case, rather sinister - largely due to degeneration caused by the absence of his soul!

That's a cracker, Greg! Massimo always produced of the best aliens and the weirdest landscapes ever to grace the House of Tharg. Seeing his art first-hand is a revelation, isn't it?

It certainly is - virtually everything in a Belardinelli story seems organic or alive in some way, from the teeming, writhing landscapes to (in Ace Trucking Co.'s case) the clothing and even the technology!

Fabulous. Nobody did nightmare scenes quite like Belardinelli. That was a great run, and an amazing thing to own!
