Description

Krenkel, the master of movement, illustrates John Carter of Mars, from the Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Barsoom stories. This is a prelim that was later finished using a light box (see additional photo). Prelim was published as the cover to ERB Collector #20. Nice size for a Krenkel (9.5” x 6”). Piece is two sided, with reverse showing a partially inked prelim to a Pellucidar story.
