Yowza! Now that's a striking Bernie Wrightson image! Love this creature rising out of the sea and stretching as if trying to break away from Mother Earth. I love the exaggerated musculature Wrightson gave this beast, and the intricate shading he used to bring it to life. The monster appears to be solid muscle and I would fear for anyone in its path! Stunnning pick-up, congrats!
