Description

Another in the series of patriot themed sketches. This one's from Val Semeiks - who's such a great guy. It couldn't have been nicer to deal with him. I definitely want to get something else from him at some point. It's Paul Grist's Jack Staff, Marvel's Captain America, Comely's Captain Canuck, Archie's Golden Age Shield and Jon Filsinger's Griffin. I love Cap's face and all the nice detail to Jack Staff and the Griffin's costumes. Plus I think that the idea of the pillars and the flags really worked well, especially Griffin holding the tattered flag. Inking will have to wait for another day.

(and props to Damon for catching that I'd mis-IDed someone in my own commission)
