DescriptionYou don’t hear much about Graham Ingels beyond his horror work at EC. I often wondered why and the simple answer is that he basically stopped working in the industry after he left EC. Horror comics went away, and with them, Graham’s work supply dried up.

This one represents the end of an era from the last EC horror comic published. Congrats, Ron

Great Cover! A real fine, stand-alone example of Ingles's art. You did forget to mention his Sci-Fi work at Iger Studios, also some of my favorite Ingles work but it certainly doesn't compare to his home run horror work.

A real beauty Ron! Interesting to hear a bit about his history, I really can't imagine him working in any other genre other than horror.

I tried to acquire this myself years back, but could not pull the trigger on such a large purchase. This is a fantastic example of Ingels' EC work, and is very symbolic of the death of EC's New Trend line. Congrats, and I'm glad to see that it is in your collection and thus in great company!!!!

Beautiful piece, exemplifying the really painterly sensibility that Ingels had. And what an appropriate final cover for the great series.

Very cool perspective on this cover. I love the misty effects with the white-out (?) at the bottom of the cover. Big congrats Ron!

It's a fantastic cover; I especially like the perspective, like you're in the dark and musty grave. Then there's the foreboding atmosphere. The men look tired, like they're exhausted from work they don't want to do, but need to do. And there's more than one coffin on the waggon. Thus when watching the cover, it feels like you're standing in a grave surrounded by death and limited resources to fight it - it's truly the "Haunt of Fear"!

Always love this cover, mysterious and melancholic. Ingels' farewell to horror comics.

Excellent work, by one of the truly greats, incredible what this man could do with shades of black and white. So easy to see the influence he had on Wrightson. Congrats Ron, this is really a superb Ghastly piece

Superb pick up Ron, as usual... a sublime rendering alluding to the funeral of EC Comics, no small event... the melancholy is thick in the air.

This is an great addition to a simply sick collection -- At publication time "Bring out your dead" meant nothing but now it keeps popping into my head!

We all bring our own histories, exposures, knowledge, etc. (including the anachronisms)when we view art, especially when it engages our imaginations as this one does.
