I bought the Double Walker TPB at the end of the show on Saturday, and hoped to read it prior to going back to the con on Sunday. The Heroes art auction going past midnight killed those aspirations. It tells a complete tale without words. Any kind of disfigurement back in those days would have been seen as witchcraft and unholy. Thus a legend and myth would be born.
