DescriptionI am always reluctant to show these kind of pieces, and may take it down quickly, but here is something you don't see every day and I thought people who collect Frazetta art and Johnny Comet dailies would like to see this. Not sure why it was done. My assumption is that it was for promotion but I have never seen any of these figures used. It was given to a friend of Frank's and they have had it for nearly 60 years. It begins with a great, large shot of Johnny and Jean arm-in-arm in the top and two great portrait shots in the bottom. As you can see, it was done mostly with pen work and some brush... and colored pencil to add highlights to Jeans dress. Not a high res- picture, but you get the idea. Not much more to say. Fantastic! Love the top drawing with the blowing dress. Great early example of Frank's art. Major Congrats!

Wow, that is fantastic! Thanks for sharing it! There is something special is viewing an "unseen" and "new" Frazetta piece for the first time!

Wally, this is a spectacular find! But I don't understand. Why exactly are you "always reluctant to show", and what do you mean by "these kinds of pieces" ?

Awesome piece! Never seen it! Just gorgeous! I do know what you mean about being reluctant to put up pieces, as I've had my CAF pictures pirated and lifted and put up on Pinterist, Tumblr, Facebook and more. We don't own copyrights on these pieces, but it always seems violating and over-exposing to have found them pirated by someone else.

The only reason I can imagine for not wanting to show off a drawing of this quality is to avoid eliciting too much envy from fellow collectors. What a gorgeous drawing and I don't think I've even seen it before... Thanks for posting!

Very, very, very nice. I am glad you gave us a glimpse at it. I am going to have to invite myself over for a visit one day to see this and all the rest of your treasures:)

This has got to be the coolest thing I've seen on CAF in a long, long time. Thanks for sharing, Wally, and congrats on adding it to your amazing collection.
