DescriptionThis is a cover for ComicBox, France's premiere comic magazine. The idea was to have Spider Man and the FF (both of which had films hitting screens that year) juxtaposed with the iconic Eiffel Tower. I actually built a cool Eiffel Towel plastic model to get the aerial shot from around the second level. On this painting, my Spidey didn't turn out as I liked. I ended up re-doing the Spidey figure on a seperate board and composited it with this painting in Photoshop. The art measures 11X17 and is in mint condition. I have a pretty cool full-size preliminary version of this art on eBay ending 4/23/2008: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=190215170566&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=009 Social/Sharing |

This is unbelievably good! It captures all of the fun and wonder that I felt as a kid when I read Marvel comics. Pitch-perfect, sir.
