Description

This completes the trifecta of commissions from Shawn McManus. A very pulp like Question. The suit and the pose reminds me a bit of Buster Keaton. A unique take on the character.

You can't see it in the image but I like the amount of blue pencil on the piece. It adds to the piece when it's in your hand.

A great look for the character by McManus with a marching forward pose used for the Question. Very appropriate symbolism for the end of the year as we march towards the new year with plenty of questions to be answered ahead.

First of all, I LOVE when inked pieces still have lots of blue pencil showing through. It gives the art a nice monochromatic look and see it as a "bonus". The piece has a pulpy feel to it, but...I wonder, is this really The Question? Because with all that electric feel in the background and his pose, I can't help but wonder if McManus was in the mood to do a Flash piece! Great stuff, looks like you took full advantage of both Semeiks AND McManus this year!

Great classic running and pose, and love the mist effect surrounding! Definitely ups the "essence of the character" feel to the piece! Congrats on this and the whole batch of McManus pieces!
