DescriptionWow!Wow!Wow!This spectacular Question is brought to you by Jackson "Butch" Guice. Another character(the other being Jonah Hex) I thought Butch would be perfect for. The character plays to the strengths Butch's illustrative style. He did not disappoint. A perfect meshing of Ditko's and Cowan's Question. Love contrasts in the piece, it's one of the reasons I love his work. His use of black and white on this piece is amazing, makes for a moody, dark and mysterious Question. Perfect! Jackson was kind enough to send a rough for approval before finishing the final commission. As you can see I asked him to remove the coat on the prelim as I thought it made the Question look too much like Rorschach. He agreed to the change and changed the background a bit. My thanks to Mr. Guice and Dave Karlen. It was a pleasure to work with Mr. Guice and quite easy. If you're interested in getting a commission of your own from Mr. Guice contact Dave Karlen at dkoriginalart@aol.com You will not be disappointed. Wow! Guice really out did himself here. The pure illustration, use of shadow, the rain effect...AND an image that really speaks to the essence of the character. Really can't beat that with OA, IMO. This one really does have it all, as they say! Congrats!

Butch is one of a smallish number of comic artists whose skills have gotten progressively better over time. He can outdraw most artists working today. Congrats, man, this is another outstanding commission piece!

Wow! This may be the best rendition of the Question that I've seen.
