I was nothing short of completely blown away when I first stumbled across Mariano's work over on deviantArt. Definitely at the top of my favorite Latin American artists around these days. Great to talk to, work with and the turnaround time was super fast (though he coulda just had some free time ;) ). A+ dude all the way around.

I won't go on any more about how much I enjoyed Kirby:Genesis but looking at this piece - how could this've been canceled! ;) Mariano's face a wonderful even to the point where I like his noses. Glory's face alone is perfect! and there's such a nice sense of his mask on his face. I really need to get this one colored.

And if you don't recognize everyone from left to right it's Captain Glory, Sigurd Dragonsbane, Nightglider, Captain Victory, the Midnight Swan, Silver Star, Tiger 21 and She-Demon.
