DescriptionI need to start this description with a simple sentence that is going to shock you...I hate Jason Pearson. Let me explain. When I commissioned this project... a while ago. I had wanted Jason to illustrate Zealot and my 1970 Oldsmobile F85 “like this image” or “like that image”. Not only is the commission NOT what I wanted, it's not my exact car. You know what? I don't... CARE. This is SO much better than what I wanted. It is NOT like other things that I wanted, it's BETTER, because it is NOT “like” those other things. It's unique. It's awesome. When I bought my PSM cover project from Jason years ago, we talked on the phone about a bunch of things and one of the things I mentioned to him was how I love how he illustrates firearms and machinery; especially cars. I have wanted a commission by Jason of my favorite year of my favorite car since I first saw his stuff and in 2012 the time is now. So, in closing, I hate Jason Pearson for NOT giving me what I want, but surpassing my expectations so I don't give a !@#$. Ya get it? This is my very own Wildstorm, 'the Ride', and Body Bags Crossover Cover!!!! Officially my favorite piece in my entire collection. Enjoy. Social/Sharing |

This is ridiculous Eric. The details, the car, the gun, Zealot....wow. Jason is one guy that I don't think gets the props he deserves. His style is so distinct and awesome, his women are some of the best in biz. Congrats, this is unreal!!

He runs laps around so many 'artists' today. His work does nothing but get better and I can't say that about a LOT of artists out there.

I couldn't be more in awe if I tried. (Sad really...) This image is the wallpaper for my phone and my laptop. When I do on-site training sessions, this is what the guys see projected up on screen or 60 inch high def' tv while we're waiting for everyone to show. Gets lots of compliments and stirs up rivalries amongst car lovers!

Stunning piece and, by the way, you've to understand that your hate for Jason is nothing compared to my hate for you... :)

It's one thing to have fellow Pearson fans dig your collection, but when a piece of art "crosses over" to other types of fans, you know you have something special. Thanx, man.

So this is the amazing piece we have all been waiting to see, huh? So what's the big deal?
PSYCH! This is awesome bro! I am so happy for you that this blew away your expectations. Just goes to show you that sometimes a great artist can give you what you need rather than what you think you want. That is one badass Zealot with a great car image to boot! The 2 things you love most! Huge congrats on this buddy!

I'm at his whim! HA. In all seriousness... What the Hell!?! That crest is stupid awesome and makes the whole piece come together. The whole thing screams action movie. Like all of Jason's commissions, all kinds of storys are going on in my head when I look at this.
