Winner! Seriously, congrats on an amazing Paul Smith page. His run on UXM was "short but sweet for certain."

This is such a beauty. I wonder who has the "other" great Phoenix splash by P Smith.... ;) but this one has some X-Men too. You had to do better than me, didn't you?

I think this is one of the better splashes of its era. It had a purpose and impact beyond being just a pretty picture.

It's not about how long you're on a book. It's what you do while you're there. And Paul certainly made his time count. Great splash dude!

At first glance, anyone who saw Paul's work thought it was "simple". What they didn't realize was Paul's amazing ability to illustrate mass and motion. Phoenix looks like she's floating in air as she should be. I also wish Paul's run was longer but appreciate the legacy that he left behind. A great pick up. Cheers! N.

The battle sequence which starts with this page is one of the best drawn is X-Men history I think. Fantastic splash by an artist at the top of his game that's for sure. On top of that we have storm Storm with a Mohawk!

Forget Kirby, Steranko, Cockrum and Byrne! If I was ever to own a page from Uncanny X-men, it would be this one. I can't think of owning a better pages from this series. Congrats again, Joe.

That's simply incredible (and it's coming from a DC fan, who didn't get to read that run) !
