Description

Very nice art for Thor battling the enchanted Moai on Easter Island, published as the cover to Thor #318 (1982). Inks on Pencils by Gil Kane, following in the footsteps of Jack Kirby who designed a similar design for House of Mystery 85, back in 1958!

As a kid - always loved this cover! Gil Kane did some of the best/most fun covers ever and this one is no exception. Congrats!

Makes you want to open the book up and see what's going on inside - #1 job of a cover! I like the sense of movement and how small Thor is in comparison to the Stone Men! Classic Gil Kane goodness. Congrats!

Having learned about the Moai on Easter Island as a young child, it was a huge thrill for me when this issue hit the stands during the first year I began collecting comics. Great piece to own, congratulations!
