Description

This is probably the one thing from this con that I am thrilled to have. It all just came down to being at the right place at the right time. Thursday night, we arrived late, and were looking for a place to eat, but everything was closed, so we were standing outside the hotel, when Adam Hughes and Allison Sohn came out on their way to a late night dinner. With them were Dan Fraga, who is a great guy, and Bernie Wrightson and his friend Liz. Dinner was great, but the following two nights, we joined them in the bar as well as Tommy Castillo, Monte Moore and Chris Moreno for a huge 2 night sketch session...During one of those sessions, Bernie took my book and did this wonderful Zombie sketch in it...I honestly can't tell you what this sketch means to me...Bernie has always been one of my heroes and to not only hang out with him, but to find out that he is truly a wonderful person on top of it all really made my weekend...Many thanks go to both Bernie and Liz, two of the most wonderful people you could ever hope to meet...

Great zombie picture by Bernie. Only Bernie can make a rotting corpse seem so cool. Like you, I've had the oppertunity to hang out with Bernie at conventions, and he's always great company.
