And hopefully, the page that will help me retire someday (like this weekend), Man of Steel #17 page 22 from waaaaaay back in 1992, the acknowledge first appearance of Doomsday. Paid $90 for this page on Ebay many years ago. I tried to remember the exact year I purchased it. For some reason 1999 comes to mind, but I don't ever remember getting on to Ebay until 2002. I saw where the cover for Man of Steel #18 featuring the first full appearance of Doomsday in his rubber suit (actually a look I prefer) recently sold for five figures at Heritage Auctions, and the first appearance of Wolverine from the last page of Hulk #180 will go to auction this weekend. I'm hoping this first page appearance will bring those prices some day...or is it the first appearance of Doomsday?

Pretty darn cool page from the first storyline of any significance for the Superman. I definitely agree with you regarding his burial suit costume being a better choice...

Hello. Thanks for the info. I have some hazy memory of bidding on this from my Mother's house in a December, but apparently my memory has disappeared over the last decade. The price I paid for it, I do remember though...
