Description

Ben Caldwell's faux retro covers are amazing and Marvel or DC should run, not walk, to his door to sign him up to do a series of alternate faux retro covers as their next big event.

I love everything about it. The lettering, the expression on the Green Goblin's face, the fact that it is set in the Grotto of the Green Goblin, the alliteration of which is note perfect for a cover featuring characters from Spider-Man and, last, but certainly not least, the fact that it features a stunning Savage Land Mary Jane.

Little Brian would have been thrilled to have seen this on the spinner rack during the holidays back in 1973.

Love this! Ben trying to get something from Ben forever, never can quite get the timing right. This is a great piece.
