This is the page the story is all about:-).
Until now I didn't know if and where it was published, but thanks to CAF and in particular to TImothy Finney, I found that it was published on Our Fighting Forces #157. I bought the book and now added the published images.

Very cool. A Kirby piece on such a unique subject matter. Very esoteric.

Free? Cool beans! (I think it was from Our Fighting Forces #157 -- this was during the time Kirby drew The Losers. DC often ran pinups of WWII era equipment, weapons, vessels, etc. in their war books.)
