Mr Lambert is, I think, probably best known for the "She's a Leyland Lady" calenders, in which various glammed-up female employees of British Leyland were featured: http://www.bbc.co.uk/arts/yourpaintings/paintings/search/belongs_to/british-commercial-vehicle-museum-2073_collections

Towards the end of his career, he was a profilic contributor of cover art for girls' comics.
