Description

I got in touch with Claudio last year to ask if he might have time to do a Surfer piece for me. He was happy to put me on the list, but warned me that the list was long and it might take a while. I have to say, it was well worth the wait. Claudio put in so much more than we discussed. He even added greytones for a more 3-D effect. I love this piece! I've been an admirer of his for quite some time. To me his Surfer is a definitive version--he brings his own style to a classic approach. In my mind he is the true successor to John Buscema's Surfer. I will treasure this a good long time. Thank you so much, Claudio!

Amazing commission. Castellini has a great way of making the Silver Surfer look like he's coated in real silver with the way his lines flow -- just like I would expect melted silver to flow. I think this is one of the best Silver Surfers on CAF. Simply amazing. Congrats!

I saw it at Prato Convention�it's the most important and amazing commission ever seen from Claudio Castellini..it's like a Cover !!! it's a masterpiece
