DescriptionI admit it. I had never heard of Shawn Crystal. I met him quite by accident at Supercon because his table was sandwiched between Clay Mann and Brad Walker. I started leafing through his portfolio and I was hooked. Then I saw this piece. A stunning Batnan that had my name all over it. He told be that he'd just been named the new artist on Arkham Manor and tact this was the pitch piece he used to land the gig. I was sold. On the book. On the art and on Shawn. This guy is a brilliant artist. And the book is a must buy book !!!Social/Sharing |

I took notice of Shawn's work ever since the first preview images of Arkham Manor went online. I was truly blown away by his unique style (which is very fitting the the Batman universe) and he is the current Bat-artist I'm mostly looking to read his work. Congrats on this might fine example by this rising star ! And it's still a BOG so it's all good, eh ?

I found him through his art on Arkham Manor and knew he was going to be doing some great stuff. He is also a very nice guy.
