Aquaman...who?!

A raging Namor gets out of his prison and attacks Dr.Doom in this tight piece by Jae Lee.
It' page 21 from Namor (vol.I) #31, script by John Byrne and pencils/inks by a young and explosive Lee (it's 1992). Lee will improve his tecnique in a blacker style, but this is a great example of his Image-liked art. I love the structure of the page, that breaks the classic comic cage. I assure that it's impressive see it in person. Signed bottom with gold pen by Jae.

Lots of nostalgia for this title. Jae Lee really had an impact. Congrats!

Those Namor issues were quite surprising. Jae Lee's style has evolved a lot since then, but you could see the guy had talent right from the start

Wow - this page has it all! Love the dynamic inking, as well as the layout Jae chose. Super jealous!
