Description

As some of you may know I am a 2nd Degree Black Belt and have a little area in my house with some art and items with an Asian influence. Part of the reason why I was always fascinated with Lone Wolf and Cub and Wolverine was that whole motif.

When I saw this MONSTROUS piece, around 24 x 36, I jumped at it. I don't have a Daredevil piece that I love and this one just grabbed me. Matteo did an amazing job with the wash and the Ninjas and positioning of Daredevil is excellent.

I really like Matteo's work and can't say enough amazing things about him and his craft. Just a great guy and Jason, his art representative, was great as well. So up it goes near my Sienkiewicz - Elektra and Ploog - Lone Wolf and Cub pieces.

If I am lucky it might be more than just a commission piece but in either case I just love this bad boy!

I was lucky enough to see this at Teo's table and it truly is something to see in person. I love the contrast he created with the background and foreground to the stuff in between. It's gives the piece a lot of depth and character.

I saw this masterpiece in person, and although the scan itself looks incredible, NOTHING can compare to seeing the real thing. One of the greatest pieces I've seen in person!!
