Description

Roger the Dodger was created by Ken Reid for the Beano in 1953 and still appear in the comic (drawn by others from 1959 when Ken left the character). He's such a brilliant character and was one of my favourites as a kid, so it brings me great pleasure to own this bit of history. Very few pages have left the vaults at DC Thompson (publishers of the Beano) so getting hold of a page like this comes along once in a blue moon!

Ken Reid is one ofthe greatest British comic creators and his work needs a wider audience, he packed his stories with sick jokes and wonderful expressions.

I am not sure when this was published and if it was in the comic or an annual - anyone know?

No comments? Sad, but there are no skintight costume clad superheroes on display, striking mock heroic poses as they beat the crap out of someone. You need to broaden your horizons or is that shrink them to The Atoms reduced size? Think its the latter. Did Ken ever draw a bad page?
