Description

I don't know what all I can say about this page. The start of a near quarter-century tradition of yearly team-ups between the JLA and JSA... the first Silver Age appearance of Dr. Fate and Hourman. The third Silver Age appearance of the Earth 2 heroes. Add to that, a classic group shot of the JLA, with Superman and Batman and some goofy-as-heck DC SA dialogue... A piece of comics history, my friends. Enjoy!

Roger - Black Canary had previously had a Silver Age appearance in THE FLASH #129, pages 5-6. This is still a great page, though!

Volthoom! (I was hoping after saying Volthoom, this page would vibrate out of your collection and fall helplessly into mine. Darn. Maybe that only works on pages from issue 29.)

You know what I love about pages like this?  Everything, actually, but most of all, they bring back the wonderful memory of the smell of newsprint.

Ahhhhhhhh.
