DescriptionUnlike most of my latest purchases, this one comes from Ebay.I've been looking for an early '90s Bisley painted piece for quite a while and, all of a sudden, this baby popped up on Ebay, mixing the right date with some of my fave characters, Alien's xenomorphs making mince meat of yet another bunch of soldiers. The monochromatic palette (brutally raped by some of the most abysmal coloring work ever in the printed version: so ugly I couldn't even remember these pages being printed) beautifully adds to the piece making it even more dramatic. Both 9x14" pages are on the same 21x15" board, which Bisley signed twice. Guess I can cross Biz' name off my wantlist for good now. Social/Sharing |

I actually contacted the guy but he had no interest in posting outside the U.S. (even Canada was a no-no) so I basically gave up. Anyways congrats on this amazing piece of work and you are correct, the colouring on this comic was amongst the worst I've ever seen (which is saying something!). It looks like they gave a toddler a box of fluorescent markers and told them to go nuts....

Beautifully painted piece! So much rendering with so few brush strokes, the mark of a true master.

The colour isn't half as bad as I was expecting, remember the colours on Badboy? THAT was an atrocity.
Amazing find, congrats.
